Haram Haqiqatjou #35: Compares Local Masjids to Barbie Movie Theaters
Background
This is the type of language that Haqiqatjou has normalized to his fans, casual slander and mockery of what he terms “compassionate imams”, alluding specifically to scholars like Dr. Yasir Qadhi, Dr. Omar Suleiman, Mufti Menk, Imam Zaid Shakir, and others. Of course, there is not one instance in which any of these figures has said “down with the patriarchy” or “down with toxic masculinity.” Accusing these scholars of feminist indoctrination is slander and haram.
Haram Action
Daniel Haqiqatjou equates listening to one of the above-mentioned scholars at a local masjid, who would presumably be teaching the Quran and Hadith, with watching the Barbie movie at a local theater. He then doubles down on his haram action, alluding to the fact that these Imams are “lying” about being Islamic, meaning by default, they are in fact engaging in “un-Islamic” work within the masjid. Haqiqatjou accuses these imams of hypocrisy, claiming that they say one thing while secretly sabotaging the Muslim community, a horrendous and slanderous claim.
Evidence of Haram
Abu Dharr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A man does not accuse another man of wickedness or unbelief but that it will be turned against him if his companion is innocent.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6045
